White Light Acrygel for crisp French lines and radiant nails

N°2 is a white shade from the LUNA moon Light Acrygel series. With its medium pigmentation it covers the free edge and is suitable for white tips as well as a completely white build.

The material combines acrylic copolymer (60–80 %) with HEMA (20–30 %), uniting the stability of a polygel with the familiar handling of a base. It absorbs shocks well, is acid-free and TPO-free and becomes slightly thinner when warm.

Application – strengthening the natural nail

Remove old product. Do not shorten the nail shape beforehand – or leave about 2 mm of length and file it off only after strengthening.
Carefully mattify the nail surface with a 220 grit file or a 100 grit buffer and remove loose flakes. Perform the manicure; after cuticle remover wash hands with soap and water.
Degrease the nails in two passes: first the surface, then the area around the cuticle and the side walls with an orange-wood stick wrapped in a wipe. Optionally apply primer: wipe the brush on a lint-free pad, wet the nail tip and sides and leave for one minute.
Work in the rubber base with a flat gel brush using a rubbing motion and outline all hollows, e.g. LUNA moon Rubber Base, cure 60 sec. A rubber base underneath Light Acrygel is absolutely necessary.
Wipe off the sticky layer. Apply Light Acrygel N°2, leaving 0.5–1 mm distance to the cuticle, cure 120 sec.
File the shape and leave some thickness at the edge – it supports the free edge. Then wipe off dust and sticky layer.
If needed apply gel polish, then seal with LUNA moon Top Coat Non Wipe and cure 120 sec. Do not wipe afterwards so the shine is preserved.
Aftercare: Care for the cuticle with LUNA moon cuticle oil .

Pro tip

For a French line, sculpt the tip with N°2 and flash-cure the gel in the lamp for 10–15 seconds after applying, before refining the line. This keeps the white from running towards the nail bed.
