Combination pouches with viewing window for scissors, nippers and complete instrument sets

The ProSteril combination sterilisation pouches in 100 × 200 mm format consist of a paper side and a transparent film side, so the contents are visible without opening the pouch. The format fits scissors, nippers and complete instrument sets.

The sulphate cellulose paper lets air molecules through but retains bacteria and other microorganisms. During sterilisation, germs in the pouch are killed by the high temperature; afterwards nothing can penetrate from the surroundings – the instruments remain sterile until the pouch is opened. The pouches are intended exclusively for hot-air sterilisation (dry heat).

Application

Clean: Disinfect instruments after treatment, e.g. clean in an ultrasonic cleaner and dry completely.
Pack: Place dry instruments in the pouch, do not overfill it and carefully close the self-adhesive seal.
Sterilise: Sterilise in a hot-air steriliser at 160–180 °C.
Check and store: Check the indicator, store the pouch closed and dry and open it only right in front of the client.
